A hearty hello to all members!

My name is Daniel, 'MS' stands for Musician and Sports. I play acoustic guitar (steel strings), and furthermore like to sing and cycle. Also, I've played in a band with Dwight for a few years, who I know personally. He's been me' best mate for about 7 years, (and years to come? ).

I've always liked gaming when I used to have more time. I started with playing runescpae years ago, along with Dwight, Wingeddrac0, and some mates. I played the game for about 4 years, and founded a clan by the name of Dragon Devils. After a while I switched to World of Warcraft, and I became unbelievable addicted.

I've played WoW for about 4 years intensively, about 7 hrs a day most of the time. At some point, I was in the top 10/20 of my server, having accomplished achievements for example like PvP Rank Grand Marshal, and a rare lilac tiger mount for which I had to repeat a quest 840 times. I also wrote a WoW guide.

At some point I joined a massive community called emupedia, home to 14.000 members and mostly dedicated to emulating WoW in the best way they can. I worked my way to the top and joined the team who emulated the first real working complete Emu of The Burning Crusade, called ManGOS. I also sniffed packages, set up server settings, managed models from new clients and worked further. At that point I was a Moderator with Admin rights. (We flew on Nether Drake mounts in BC even before the BETA of the Burning Crusade was released, and we could select every speed we would want). Also, by emulating, area's that were created but later on not implented into the game could be visited. (Admin Island, Misc. areas).

At some point, taking care of the community and gaming became too much for me to handle, playing for 50 hrs. continuously, and weeks of playing until 4 am and having to wake up at 8 am to go to school, (Dwight also experience my trouble), I decided that it had to stop in some sort of way, so I drastically deleted all my characters and withdrew myself from Emupedia. At that time, it seemed the right thing to do, but nowadays, eithout being addicted to gaming anymore, I regret having deleted my main character.

Sadly, emupedia is not online anymore and has been taken down. I am not sure for what reason, as I left 2 years ago. However, searching on google for 'Midnightsun' and 'Emupedia' will come up with results showing tremendous activity in the past.

EDIT: Furthermore, at the time that I quit playing games, I went out much more. All of a sudden I saw a beauty and I've never let her go since then. her name is Jennifer and we've been together as of since October, 26th, 2007. (That means we'll soon be together for 2 whole years!) Ain't that lovely? <3

Because of my experience with communities Dwight has asked me to join this community, and I look forward to being helpful and playing activities together. I'm sure I'll have a great time with you guys, as you all seem to have an equal goal and are very dedicated to reach it.
